Collaborators

Collaboration is at the heart of how I think and how I expand into the world. Here are some of my current and past partners in creativity.

Paul Charbonneau

movement
Retreat co-host January 2027

Paul is no stranger to leading creative and energizing classes. Starting from the belief that movement is integral to living a fulfilling and happy life, he brings his extensive background as a celebrated touring dancer – having even worked with Ariana Grande – to all his classes.

Kimiko Tao Fujimoto

ritual and movement
Retreat co-host June 2026

California-born, Japanese American, 4th generation Yonsei, Kimiko found her French Canadian family roots in Montreal. Like the Zen word, Unsui, Kimiko travels like a “cloud and water wanderer.” With her nomadic heart, she traverses many landscapes around the world, crafting flower essences and designing gatherings based on 20 years of extensive study in yoga and ritual arts.

Known as a teacher of teachers, Kimiko is an educator and mentor who loves inviting students to step into their empowerment with intuition, wisdom, and authenticity. A love of nature grounds all her offerings as she guides experiences that bridge the mystical with practical methodology. Her enthusiasm for adventure and soulful rest informs her offerings, bringing expansive play and sacred introspection in near-perfect balance.

HAVEN Creative Space

Photography, videography and styling

The Haven team went above and beyond with styling, photography, videography, locations and so much more for many of the photos you see on this site. Liana Carbone, co-founder, began Haven in 2016 with only a camera, an empty room and a dream. A passion for image making grew into a passion for carefully crafting greater interweaved visions, and creating an environment where gifts can be unlocked and nurtured. Today, she stands accompanied by a brilliant network of multifaceted creators, in an ever-expanding space for inspiration, possibility and collaboration.

Sarah L’Hrar

Astrology, The Portal Retreat co-host

Sarah L’Hrar is a psychological and humanistic astrologer, teacher, and counselor who practices both online and in person in Montreal, Quebec. She serves as ISAR’s Global Director for Canada, is a master mentor at Debra Silverman’s School of Applied Astrology, and hosts the podcast “Inside The Astro Studio.” Sarah’s work revolves around using astrology as a language for individual and collective meaning-making, guiding clients through personal growth, well-being, and relational health. Her students nicknamed her “Astro Auntie,” as a nod to her compassionate, supportive, and straightforward relating style.

Marianne Larochelle

Photography, Nidra membership content

Marianne Larochelle has been practising and studying yoga for over twenty years, and is passionate about sharing her teachings with others. Her classes are designed to be a complete journey into the self, balancing Yang and Yin through asanas, yoga nidra and meditation, and exploring all the potential for transforming body and mind through various schools of mystery and wisdom (Tarot de Marseille, Taoism, Buddhism, Zen philosophy and shamanism), inviting students to get to know and recognize themselves, so that they can access the treasures of abundance and vitality within. Students appreciate her for her immense heart, imagination, meticulous technical guidance and sensitivity to individual needs.

Kelly Mackay+
Morpho Bleu

Soul sister, partner in creating community, co-founder Studio Morpho Bleu

A dedicated student of the practice since 2008, Kelly says that yoga has saved her and changed her life in the best way possible. The studio is an extension of her family – in fact, according to her husband, her love for her son Xavier is the only thing that exceeds her love for yoga. Kelly is profoundly inspired by the different people and paths that find the practice. She has cultivated special relationships with many in her community, and tends to these with love and care. She’s been a part of several retreats in Costa Rica with Sara, and is looking forward to going again soon.

Cat Martel

Photographs on location at Morpho Bleu

Throughout my career, I’ve been a gardener, an entrepreneur, a project manager, a director, and a food systems consultant. I eventually found myself in the world of 9-5s, wanting to make a living yet always feeling like I was waiting for the next vacation. Jumping into freelance photography finally feels like honoring my rhythm and what I need.

It might sound cliché, but I genuinely believe everything happens for a reason. Every one of those experiences shaped who I am today: someone who can listen deeply, adapt easily, and make things happen. I would love to bring that to your experience.

Melanie Richards

Retreat co-host September 2026; Yin membership content

Founder and director of HappyTree Yoga studio in Montreal, Melanie leads Hatha, Yin, and Gentle Yoga Teacher Trainings. She is the winner of the 2014 Quebec Notable Award for Social Entrepreneurship and was recognized as an outstanding citizen by CTV’s The Power of One for her work with cancer patients and underprivileged youth. Melanie is a sought-after speaker and workshop leader (TEDx Montreal Women, MUHC Nurses’ Conference, Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation, Yoga Festival Montreal, Wanderlust Tremblant) and published writer on the topics of yoga, health and self-empowerment.

Rebeca Salmon

Retreat co-host 2026, Kundalini Ignite collaborator

Beca is a nomad, an oncology nurse practitioner and a former special education teacher. She has been a practitioner of many types of yoga for over 20 years, studying in the Bay Area, NYC and India, but it wasn’t until 2019 when she found kundalini yoga that she was able to finally create a lasting daily practice. She completed her teacher training with Guru Singh and Bret Larkin. Beca’s classes aim to be a grounded exploration of how to use the kundalini technologies to create a life full of more energy, resilience and joy. She recently published her memoir, The Third Option, available now.

Dana Samuel

Business and brand strategy, website design and marketing

Dana is an independent strategic partner working across brand, business, and teams. She helps organizations make sense of themselves – and act on it. Since founding her solo consultancy in 2022, she has brought a design-thinking lens to complex environments, identifying underlying patterns, surfacing root issues, and shaping what already exists into something more intentional and aligned. Her non-linear path through design studios, artist residencies, university classrooms, and small businesses informs her ability to synthesize across fields and move between big-picture thinking and grounded execution.

At heart, Dana is a proud generalist with sharp instincts and a critical eye, known for seeing the thing underneath the thing. Outside of work, she hosts The Chrysalis Pod, drinks an unreasonable amount of coffee, and is happiest watching Below Deck or wandering cities, galleries, and other thoughtfully made spaces.

Nadine Schwartz

Retreat co-host 2024, Kundalini Ignite collaborator

Nadine Schwartz is an award-winning Canadian producer, director, writer, and the founder of Kamafilms, a Quebec-based media company dedicated to creating conscious films that uplift, inspire, and illuminate the human spirit. With a career spanning over three decades across documentary filmmaking, branded storytelling, and philanthropic media, Nadine is known for crafting emotionally resonant films that honour legacy, creativity, and the deeper threads connecting spirit, humanity, and purpose.

Beyond filmmaking, Nadine is also a Kundalini Yoga, Quantum Flow, and spiritual teacher, drawing from over 30 years of yogic practice, transformational study, and inner mastery. She lives and creates between the worlds of art, land, and spirit, and grows “Divine Organic Garlic” at her family farm in Georgeville, Quebec.
